Guangxi Liuzhou Special Transformer Co., Ltd. Takes Smart Manufacturing Overseas to Fuel Launch of Vietnam’s First Full Electrolytic Aluminum Industrial Chain

Recently, the Dak Nong 450,000-ton electrolytic aluminum project in Vietnam, a benchmark initiative for deepening China-Vietnam production capacity cooperation, has achieved key progress. Following the successive arrival of equipment, the overseas service team dispatched by Guangxi Liuzhou Special Transformer Co., Ltd. rushed to the project site without delay. Working in close coordination with the general contractor China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (CNMC) and the project owner THQ Vietnam Co., Ltd., the team carried out core tasks including equipment positioning, installation and joint commissioning of electrical systems in strict compliance with high standards.

As Vietnam’s first electrolytic aluminum project, the Dak Nong 450,000-ton facility will complete the country’s full industrial chain covering bauxite mining, alumina refining and electrolytic aluminum smelting, giving a strong boost to local industrial upgrading. As a core equipment supplier, Guangxi Liuzhou Special Transformer Co., Ltd. has supplied a total of 42 sets of equipment for the project, consisting of 220kV rectifier transformers, power transformers, compensation transformers and dry-type transformers.
